Dagens Industri (DI), Sweden’s leading financial newspaper, has an annual award for the fastest growing companies in Sweden. The selection of companies is based on a number of criterias from the company’s four recent annual financial statements and includes;

  • An annual turnover exceeding 10 millions (SEK)
  • At least doubled its turnover if you compare the first and the last financial year
  • Increased its turnover every year for the past three years
  • Has essentially grown organically, not through acquisitions or mergers
  • Healthy finances
  • In 2014, 876 Swedish companies (less than 0,5% of all Swedish companies) received a Gazelle award. During the evaluated period, these companies have generated more than 20,000 job opportunities.

AAA – Highest Credit worthiness. Only limited liability companies can hold the AAA (triple A) rating. Furthermore, the company must have been trading for at least ten years, have a turnover exceeding SEK 2 million, and be able to show financial ratios well in excess of the industry average.
